How I can help you
If your hospital or medical practice has been struggling with manpower shortage, physicians’ burnout, and internal conflicts, it’s time for a new approach.
You can bring me in to deliver one or more seminars designed to ignite a perspective shift around the problems your system is facing, or you can engage me in a more consultative role over a period of time.
MY APPROACH
My goal is to help you build a shared and sustainable path forward that benefits all parts of your hospital or medical practice.
THIS REQUIRES A WILLINGNESS TO…
put healing and wellbeing for all back at the center of the system
restore humanity and vulnerability in the doctor-patient relationship
ask questions rooted in compassion
have an honest, deeper dialogue about what really matters
help everyone feel respected and valued
think outside-the-box instead of circling around surface-level solutions that continue to create divisions
The first step is to get your medical personnel re-engaged in their work.
Hospitals cannot serve their patients and navigate the great challenges of these times if their physicians and nurses are breaking down, feeling disenfranchised, and losing hope in their profession.
HOW WE WILL WORK TOGETHER
1.
I will have a conversation with the Executive Leadership to feel the pulse of the situation and see if we are a good fit.
2.
I will listen to physicians, nurses, coding specialists, and other departments to understand the issues from every angle.
3.
We will identify key areas of conflict and struggle to intervene on - both at the systemic and individual level - and lay out measurable objectives.
It is crucial that everyone involved feels they can speak up and see me and this process as an ally in building an environment that works for all.
From there, we will chart a concrete plan of action tailored to your hospital’s situation. This can include:
Facilitating conversations to find a real common ground and build mutually beneficial solutions “with heart and compassion”
1:1 counseling and support for struggling medical staff
Coaching and advising the Chief Medical Officer
Shaping a new culture or new internal organizational structures
